Cream Dory Sinigang in Coconut Meat & Coconut Juice (SourFishSoup)

Sinigang is one of the comforting dishes for Pinoys; it’s either rainy or sunny day! Try this newest version of sinigang with coconut meat and juice!


4 slices of cream dory fish (soak on 3 tbsp of calamansi juice)

3 eggplants (slice into desired cuts)

3 big tomatoes (quartered cuts)

1 head of onion (quartered cut)

1 cup of  sliced coconut meat

3 cups of coconut juice

1 medium of ginger (julienne sliced)

1 tbsp of whole black pepper seeds

4 pcs of green peppers

salt and pepper to taste

How to cook:

1. In a pan, put cream dory fish, pour 3 cups of coconut juice, add the coconut meat, ginger, eggplants, tomatoes, onion, and black pepper seeds. Then cook over medium heat for 30 minutes.
2. Add green peppers, salt, and pepper to taste.
3. Arrange in a bowl as you wish.
